| | | | | | Causal Dualism - Keith Kramer | | | Our Price: $9.95 | | | | Item Number: MMC2167 | | | | Description | | Casual Dualism is a celebration of dichotomy and the relationships between all things. Tibetan monks consider musical experience as dualistic experience, the external and the internal. The external musical experience reflects the music that we hear, while internal music is that which is experienced in the musician’s soul, accompanying the external.
Duality, a work for soprano saxophone, bass trombone and string quartet, presents a journey of possibilities for the different colors of the ensemble to interact throughout the four movements of the composition. Causality, recorded in October 2003 with the Moravian Philharmonic with conductor Vit Micka at the helm, is a reflection of action and reaction that permeates through all events.
